Well today I finally got round to modding one of my wii wireless sensor bar’s to be able to be powered using USB (wired) in addition to batteries (wireless) just so im covered for doing demos etc for the old PhD.
All in all it was a smooth process with only one hairy moment (power surge detected on USB port… aggghhh). The plan is to write a step by step to the mod but for now here are some pictures.
Be careful if you decide to do similar I accept no responsibility and advise against it so if you blow something up its your own fault, which begs the question dare I write the guide.
